Special Player Mentoring Sessions

👉🏽 High Life Mentoring Program

Throughout the season, we’ll be offering special one-off mentoring sessions for players within our Elite Academy and JPL teams.

The social and psychological elements of the FA Four-Corner Model are incredibly important to us. At Love Life, we’re intentional about developing more than just the technical and tactical side of a player’s game. We also want to invest in their mindset, confidence, character, resilience and personal development.

We believe that how a young person thinks can have a huge influence on who they become. That’s why, throughout the season, we’ll provide dedicated mentoring sessions designed to help our boys and girls develop a stronger and healthier mindset both on and off the pitch.

These sessions will be provided completely free of charge, with no additional cost to parents. We’re committed to investing in the whole player, rather than charging extra for every additional area of development.

Our aim is not simply to help develop better footballers. We want to contribute towards developing good people, young people who demonstrate the right values within football, at home, at school and throughout their community.

That’s what player development means to us at Love Life.

BD Love Life Elite Academy ⚽

Our Under-15s and Under-16s played Barnsley FC Academy last night. It was a really tough game for us.

The conditions we played in were extremely difficult. We had two players not turn up, two players get injured, had to play 25 minutes with 10 men, and then had to play our goalkeeper up front for the second half. It was always going to be difficult.

But I tell you what the guys worked so hard. 👏⚽

When we did our data analysis, as we always do and have been doing with our players for the last few years, the numbers clearly showed the work ethic, running and incredible shift the players put in.

You can’t ask for much more than that. First and foremost, you want your players to work hard, and they certainly did that.

It wasn’t the result we wanted, but hopefully we’ll get the opportunity to play them again with the squad we wanted to have available, and we’ll be fitter and stronger.

Some things happen that are simply outside of our control, but I’m really thankful for the attitude, effort and commitment shown by the players.

A massive thank you to all the parents for bringing the lads and supporting us at the game.
