This morning my van had an oil change, I have lost track but I think it may be the 35th or 36th oil change.
It's currently costing me around 13 pence per mile to drive with diesel costs, last year I drove over 40,000, mi, and with 255,000 mi on the clock it just flew through another
MOT.

Will I get to post another photograph in 6 or so years as it passes half a million miles?

It's a 2017 ford transit connect, I bought it 3 years old with 48,000, mi on the clock and other than oil changes and timing belts it's literally had zero maintenance.

Four years ago Lesley Dodson and I started what felt like a long, slightly silly, but really quite cool challenge.
We wanted to see what England really had to offer, what different towns, cities and countryside looked like.
To achieve this we decided to spend one night in every county.
We got a little carried away and squeezed in most of Scotland, and the NC500 into that as well, but as of today.
Every one of the 49 administrative counties in England have hosted Lesley and I.

From rooms in pubs so dirty and damaged it was hard to sleep, being the only guests in a 60 room hotel, so the owner shared the family evening meal with us, hippy teachers, a couple of golf courses, converted sheds and a room on the 9th floor in Covent Garden, it's been an adventure. Assisted of course by being with my best friend for it all.
