Huge thanks to everyone at Emley AFC for hosting our U13’s and U18’s tonight vs Brighouse juniors and Norristhorpe respectively. A fantastic night was had by all. Much appreciated

Friday night under the lights. Our U13’s and U18’s will both be playing back to back inside Emleys stadium.

Bar and diner will be open and a raffle to help Emley raise funds, come down and support your local grassroots club. It should be a great atmosphere and a night to remember for all players.

We would like to wish a happy new year to all our players and their families past and present.

And a huge thankyou to our fantastic coaches and management team that make everything possible from behind the scenes.

Emley AFC is pleased to welcome Kexborough Chiefs JFC as its newest club partner.

Established as a vibrant grassroots club based in Barnsley, Kexborough Chiefs JFC supports teams from Under‑7s through to Open Age, playing their matches at Darton Academy. The club is committed to nurturing young talent and fostering spirited competition across age groups.

We were delighted to welcome Kexborough as our mascots at Saturday’s game. 👏

Our U16’s team currently have a couple of spaces available for the current season. Training on Thursdays at darton academy with matches on Sundays.

They have the hardest job on the whole team.

If the Team are doing well - they can feel like a million miles away down the pitch, in the meantime the goalie stands still getting cold and feeling lonely.

Likewise, the goalie is the one who feels all the pressure if a goal is conceded.

So go on show your Goalkeeper some appreciation! We love ours at Banstead Village Football Club

Remember you are never to blame, you play as a Team. If a goal is conceded that is due to the efforts of every squad member. It will never lie on the shoulders of one player - not on our Team anyway....... Love your Team, Love your Club and Love your Football
