A lick of new paint goes a long way. So chuffed with how this project has turned out! She's looking like new!

More rot around at the back! It's all got to go and be replaced with new timbers.
Wayne is doing a thorough job on her. Great to see!

Loading her up and getting her over to the renovators for the first part of her rebuild. Looking forward to this!

She really is in a sad state right now. The rotten timber just comes away in my hand!

The journey starts here.
What started out as an almost accidental purchase of an old caravan, as temporary accommodation for a friend, turned into something quite different.
Firstly, after my friend got himself a new home, my daughter took her over as her new playroom and of course, she had to be named! At which, Rosie ceased to be just an old caravan but a character. A new member of the family.
Secondly, we started to use her for her intended purpose and short breaks to nearby camping parks introduced us to the fun that is to be had in a caravan. I never thought I would enjoy it so much but now, I wouldn't be without a caravan!
Having been in the family for about 12 years now and being 45 years old, poor Rosie developed leaks and I soon found that the dreaded rot had set in.
So, she's off to be renovated! Tastefully, in the original style, but with some new materials to make sure she stays waterproof in the future.
