Plymstock up today, 7 rinks on the green....what a glorious day for playing bowls....

A reminder there is just under a month to go until the deadline for entries of Daisy’s Day.

We have space for 4 or 5 more triples. It would be amazing to fill the remaining triples with members from different clubs.

Homeward bound after a great few days away on the Men’s Tour.

Today we played at Bath Bowling Club and we were victorious, winning on 4 of the 6 rinks. In total we scored 355 shots and 15 out of 19 rinks over the 3 days, making Mr Ellis our most successful captain. Although he did end up having to look after Rocky for the coach ride home.

Thank you to the Tour Committee for organising an awesome weekend for 31 men. Same again next year!

Another successful day and night on the Bowls Tour, this time at Devizes. With 5 rinks winning, 1 tie and out first losing rink of the Tour. Mr Fry picked up Rocky for the next 24 hours.

Our winning form didn’t stop Mr Mock writing more fines down on the Coach.

The evening finished off with a few sing songs and lots of drinks in the Kings Arms in Trowbridge.

Great first day of bowling on Tour. Rock Park won on all 6 rinks scoring a total of 113 shots.

The evening was spent eating and drinking in the local establishments. Saving ourselves for a trip to Devizes today.

It’s that time of year again and 31 men from Rock Park Bowling Club are off on Tour to Trowbridge for the next 3 days full of bowls, laughter and some drink.

Breakfast on route and the fines master John Mock has already got his blue book out.
