So pleased with the new extension to the showroom at Scumble Goosie!! A chance to show off the furniture against a lovely new backdrop of our Georgian Wide Joint full size sheets!!!
Currently on my ebay account, I am watching 17 cast iron bedroom fire surrounds, 11 cast iron grates, 5 various sized pieces of slate and 1 frock !

Been practising my Annie Sloan paint/wax/distressing techniques on a clock case I bought a while ago.. Just got to buy a new clock face and put some shelves inside... X

When we moved here in 2010, I did not "love" the kitchen... the carcases had seen better days, and a damp back wall needed attention and the dark wood made the kitchen darker then it was. As the year went on, it was obvious we were not going to replace the kitcehn soon, so I decided to lighten up the exisiting kitchen for now. With the help of a few friends we washed and sanded the door fronts, then primed them twice in a thick wood primer and undercoat, and then painted it in Bone by Farrow and Ball.

Hello "NOSEY PARKERS" (or at least thats what i wanted to call this page) ... I have loads to share in the next few weeks, but thought I would share a few previous before & after pictures of work already done here. There is more descriptions on each photo...
