Everyone at Barrow Cricket Club would like to wish our 1st XI Vice Captain Simon Chadd the very best of luck as he heads out to Australia for the winter, taking up the opportunity to play for Belvoir Eagles.

A fantastic opportunity and one we’re sure Simon will make the most of. Enjoy the experience, the cricket and everything that comes with it!

Good luck to our ladies team playing in the County softball finals day tomorrow 🏏

🏆 WOMENS FINALS DAY 🏆

Tomorrow Wigton CC will host the women’s softball cricket cup finals day where our own women’s team will be competing with 3 other clubs to bring the trophy home!

It promises to be a great day with food in the form of loaded hot dogs & nachos, events and raffles with a lot of the raffle prizes being donated by women-led Cumbrian businesses and of course, our women’s XI fighting to bring home their first trophy in their first ever season.

Action will start up at the club at 11am with 2 semi final games on at the same time followed by the two winning teams competing in a final at 2pm.

SF1 - Wigton v Barrow
SF2 - Keswick v Sedgewick

Please get down and support our ladies in their bid to become champions as they throughly deserve it after a stellar first season.

Lineup to be announced later this evening so keep an eye out!

The Seconds entertain Netherfield Thirds in their final home game of the season from 1pm on Saturday. The bar will be open.

Everyone is welcome on FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25th as we round our season off with the seniors’ awards night. Priced at just £5 which includes pie and peas’ it promises to be a great night. Music will be provided by New Sass.
