⚽️🏆 BARROW CELTIC U10s – AUTUMN CUP REPORT 🏆⚽

What a fantastic day for our Barrow Celtic Under 10s as they took part in the Autumn Cup at Boyd Park, facing four strong sides in what was a brilliant day of football.

The lads came up against Vickerstown, Holker, Millom, Askam and Walney Yellow with some really competitive games throughout the tournament.

Barrow Celtic played some fantastic football, showing great teamwork, determination and plenty of attacking quality. The team also scored some brilliant team goals, with some excellent passing and build-up play on display. 👏⚽

Match Report: Barrow Celtic Tigers U11 vs. Holker Old Boys Stags U11

Venue: Boyd Park

It was fantastic to finally get back out on the pitch at Boyd Park after the frustration of last week’s weather cancellation, and both teams certainly made up for lost time.

From the opening whistle, the game was played at an electric, end-to-end pace.

Both Barrow Celtic Tigers and Holker Old Boys Stags put on a display of high-quality football, with fast-flowing attacks and impressive skill being demonstrated right across the field.

A massive congratulations goes to this week’s Player of the Match, Jemima!

She set the standard from start to finish, driving the team forward with incredible determination and never giving up on a single ball.

Well done to all of our Tigers for putting in such a fantastic team performance and delivering a brilliant game of football! ⚽🐯

Well done to both our U8 Celtic Emeralds and U7 Celtic for a great effort this morning in the 3 vs 3s with Walney Yellows and Holker Bucks.

5 pitches, 30 odd kids, lots of family and positive praise. Every child, every minute.

Our U12 Lions played Holker U12s at Boyd park on Thursday. The lads put in an excellent performance with some fantastic team play on show.

Well done to Floyd who was captain on the night👏

A big well done too, to Jacob W and George for their player of the match performances. George was excellent in the middle of the field and was clinical in front of goal. Jacob reluctantly tried playing left back and was brilliant! Which in future will help the team have balance and cover 👏👏

A big thank you goes to all the parents and coaches for their support and for creating such a positive environment for the kids to enjoy their football. Also to Luis our league appointed ref for the game.

A great start to the weekend as some of our under 7s visited Hawcoat for 3 vs 3.

Good run out played in a good spirit. Oakley really kept battling especially after taking a sore one. Richard made some great blocks and looked to pass.

Oscar was excellent, sheer enthusiasm as well as skill. Victory in his first run out finding the net ss well as some mazy dribbling.
