Today at Millwood, we held our annual Curly Cup Competition, pictured are our winners

🌿 WELL… WHERE HAS THE SEASON GONE? 🌿

Today, Millwood A welcomed Pontyclun A for our final league game of the 2026 season.

With the sun shining, there was a fantastic atmosphere around the green, with great sportsmanship from both teams. ☀️👏 There were some very close games, with everyone giving their absolute best right to the end.

And what a way to finish the season… another WIN for Millwood A! 🙌💚

A very special thank you must go to our Captain, Emma, for her support, encouragement and leadership throughout the season. You have been exceptional, and everyone within the team and committee would like to thank you sincerely for everything you have done. 💚

Thank you also to all our players, supporters and everyone who has played their part throughout another enjoyable season at Millwood.

Now we look forward to what comes next…

A great time was had by everyone, with plenty of laughs, good company and, of course, some enjoyable bowls along the way. 😊

Congratulations to Millwood Club Team who hosted Cardiff Athletic.

Sun was shining in Barrybados and the home team successfully took the game overall.

Well done to all players and to Cardiff Athletic for the journey out to us.

MUNRO CUP RESULT WINS FOR BOTH MILLWOOD TEAMS

This weekend our Club team welcomed Llantrisant who currently stand at the top of league division 4.

Well done to all players who battled 21 ends through the sunshine and hot weather.
Sadly Millwood lost overall, all players did their very best.

Thank you to everyone too who prepared the rinks and food for our guests.

Millwood welcomed the Barry Veterans Group for an afternoon social game of bowls. Following a tense final in the blistering heat it was time for a hearty buffet and a chin wag with a beverage or two. Awesome group of people.

Congratulations to Millwood A team on bringing the points and another overall win as we welcomed Ystrad Mynach BC.

The weather was kind and it certainly was a challenge for all our sides against a very good away team.

Good luck to Captain Ryan and his team on their season and fixtures ahead .
