A close encounter this evening, but BBR dug in and came away with the majority of the points, despite a spirited fight back by Railway B. Well done both sides.

Great weather last Saturday for enjoying a friendly game of bowls over the bank holiday.

A nice start if somewhat cold to the season with a friendly match with a nearby neighbours Barton Park B C at their ground in Baysgarth Park.

A beautiful day to start the 2026 season at Brigg Road B C. A really great turn out with lots of laughs and friendly banter. Nice to see one or two new faces there as well.

One week to go to the first roll up of the season. The green is looking good and the clubhouse looks s***k and span after a winter paint and refit.
Look forward to seeing you all old and new 1.45pm next Monday 13th April.

Wishing all our Members and Followers a Merry Christmas

Finals day today. We all feared a wash out but apart from one shower it turned into a nice day. The singles were won by Sherwyn Sewell in a close game with Dave Rushby winning 16 Woods to 12 in a close fought game. Thank you all that helped to make it a very friendly pleasurable day.

A really good turnout for our second roll up. A lot drier than our first. A very pleasant afternoon thanks to all.

A good turnout for this Tuesday workparty. Trimming back overhanging vegetation and generally tidying the green area ready for the start of next season. The green is still a bit long but looking very good. Thanks to all who turned out.
