Great day out at the Humber Bridge Half Marathon today! Well done to everyone that took part. ๐๐พโโ๏ธ๐ ๐
A few clips from a session with Jen & Flo this week at Calisthenics Parks Gym. This weeks focus was core stability.
We started by looking at pelvic and scapula control alongside some other important mechanisms behind core stability. Next, the girls put their knowledge into practice with some functional movement patterns, before a bit of general abdominal conditioning and a play on the rings to finish!
Really good progress from both across the session! ๐๐ฝ

Hi, my name is Joel/Jobi, Iโm a Hull based Level 3 Personal Trainer. Employing a holistic approach to health and wellness, I seek to develop all aspects of fitness in my clients. This includes strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, coordination, aerobic and anaerobic endurance predominantly through calisthenic (bodyweight) exercises and functional movement patterns.
My broad range of experience in the delivery of fitness programmes, spans from an elite professional level at a Premier League Football Club/Academy to special populations in association with the NHS. In addition to this I hold an honours degree in BSc Sport, Health & Exercise Science (Human Performance) and am currently studying towards a Masterโs degree in MSc Health Psychology.
Over the summer months, I will be providing 1-to-1, and small group, sessions in the parks and open spaces around Hull. Alternatively, I also run sessions at Calisthenics Parks Gym. I am also available for home consultation at residences within the Hull city limits subject to a full suitability and risk assessment.
Additionally, I also offer dietary/nutritional advice, specializing in guidance for clients interested in transition to a plant-based/vegan diet.
