Humberside Dynamic Shooting Club

What a fantastic weekend for the Humberside QuickDraw Classic.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success. From our club members, volunteers, RO team and range staff, through to the cadets who gave up their time to assist throughout the match — the amount of work behind the scenes never goes unnoticed, and events like this simply could not happen without you.

We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to the UKPSA Official Practical Shooting Community for their continued support of both the match and the club.

The weather was on our side both days, the stages ran exceptionally well, and we’ve been incredibly pleased with the positive feedback received from competitors. It was great to see so many shooters enjoying the match, challenging themselves, shooting safely, and contributing to such a positive atmosphere on the range.

Congratulations to all those that went home with a trophy, it’s great to see all the hard work and training pay off.

A great deal of time and effort went into designing and building the stages, and we’re proud of what the team delivered for the first Humberside QuickDraw Classic.

Thank you again to everybody involved — competitors, staff, supporters and helpers alike. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

First club day of 2026 done. Thanks to everyone who came down.

Last Tuesday night marked the final club event of the year for HDSC.

Thanks to everyone that has come down to shoot with us in 2025, and to all of you that have given your time to help keep things moving.

This year has been fantastic, seeing plenty of new members joining up, safety courses ran, the start of our practical shotgun training sessions, and our first level 2 UKPSA match hosted.

We have more great things planned for 2026, including level 3 handgun, rifle, and shotgun matches.

Also, from January we’re starting to run club evenings on Thursdays as well as our regular Tuesday sessions, giving you more opportunities to shoot.

For now though, we hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

If you would like to shoot both LBP and LBR, please enter both the above matches, but note that you will probably need to shoot LBP on Friday and LBR on Saturday. Please email us ([email protected]) if you plan to shoot both, so we can make sure you are squadded appropriately.

URGENT MESSAGE REGARDING THE HDSC SHOTGUN LEVEL 3 MATCH SEPTEMBER 2026

We have just learnt that IPSC have rescheduled the Shotgun world shoot in 2026, which now directly clashes with our planned level 3.

A Please DO NOT book accommodation, make any plans, or anything for now (especially non refundable), until we can work out the next steps. We have closed registration until we can work out what to do.

We are extremely frustrated by this news, and can only apologise to everyone who has started making plans, but we hope you understand that this is out of our hands completely and we will update as soon as we can, e.g. if we can reschedule or if we have to cancel.

Naturally if you cannot make the new dates or we cancel the match, full refunds will be issued. Apologies again everyone!
