Had an amazing day on Saturday at my first Billericay Lawn Tennis Club finals day! Must've seen over 100 people playing and supporting across a long, long day of umpiring, running events and of course watching the odd game or two with a cheeky hotdog. While I didn't play in any finals myself, 3 of my players did emerge as champions! Always did say I'm a better coach than player!! 🤣

So thrilled to be announcing I'm now going full time at Billericay Lawn Tennis Club! Lots of exciting things going on at the club already and many more to come. Watch this space!

Just bought the Billie Faiers highchair for my little man just about to start weaning, and got to thinking about this little throwback to last year filming with these two absolute gems on ! I was so nervous, I barely spoke for like half hour 🤣🤣

As my first term at Billericay comes to a close it's very important to me that I share with you all just how amazing this place is. For the first time since I left the fantastic Elm Park Lawn Tennis Club (miss you guys) I feel like I truly belong. I feel wanted. I feel respected. I feel like I'm back.

The idea of self esteem is a funny one. While it's obviously your own perception of yourself, it's just as informed by your perception of other people's opinions of you, if not more. I'm now working with some of the best youngsters and coaches in Essex and beyond. National level players. Award winning coaches. And I'm not overwhelmed. I'm playing in the highest leagues of club-level tennis and I'm not overwhelmed, in fact I'm unbeaten. In the men's doubles anway... we don't talk about Mixed 1 vs Danbury 😭

The past 2/3 years have been overwhelmingly difficult for many reasons, most out of my control, but I think I've finally found a place to call home. I came here to play but you convinced me to coach. I'm bloody glad you did. Thank you Billericay, see you in the spring 😘.
