The Swanmead Centre has a different use today , for the local area it’s the polling station and is open from
07:00 until 22:00 !.

WE ARE OPEN
SWANMEAD CENTRE IS FOR THE BASILDON COMMUNITY SO IF THERE ARE ANY GROUPS , CLUBS , CLASSES OR JUST NEED A MEETING PLACE OR EVEN A SMALL OFFICE THEN WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU.
We are a nonprofit charity and have new trustees and ideas , we are restructuring our use hopefully for the benefit of the community.
We will always try and structure the hire to accommodate the hirer’s to there satisfaction.

Hopefully now we’ve been heading towards some sort of normality for our members , over the last 18 months we’ve missed out on so many events organised by different community groups . We can continue with the care of our members , Swanmead Centre and get through this winter , then next year we can look forward to more events opening up again 🤗❤️🙏

Now we’ve refurbished Swanmead Centre all the wildlife keeps coming in from the garden , 🐝🐜🕷🐌🐁🐿🐀🕊🦊🦊🦊 the first was a Magpie hopping over Pool table and table football while we’re trying to guide it towards the rear garden then we had a slow worm 🪱 and mouse 🐁 as well , there’s a warm spot under the cleaners butler sink with some droppings and advised that there left by squirrel 🐿 , we also had a pair of foxes 🦊 🦊 nesting under our container during the summer and we were able to watch 3 🦊 Cubs grow and then out of these 3 🦊 Cubs there’s one that’s stayed and is quite brave around people

We have now completed our refurbishment of Swanmead Centre and are open as normal.
This hall is now completed and is available for hire .
If there are clubs or groups needing premises to hire , please contact us to see if we can help in anyway .
There are 4no Disabled Toilets, fully equipped kitchen for use as well , we have excellent discounted rates .
We hope to hear from yourselves .

We were able to complete our decorating schedule by painting a large number of dividing and office internal windows, this was made possible with a donation from Ann & Peter Cawthorne . We appreciate your donation and Thank You 😘
