Look what happens when organisations work together! We have been supporting people from every corner of the community get active by creating open opportunities for people to try difderent cycling pathwats to support their emotional and physical health journeys. We are very proud of our work with Sport for Confidence, Wheels For All and Everyone Active in spending time with people to learn the difficulties they face and working with them to create health benefits and community connection.

At the beginning of September our ATF and Essex Pedal Power collaborative Family ride in Basildon visited a wild pond (as we do every month) and brought with us some bin bags and gloves to do some clearing up. With the aid of our retractable nets and sticks nearby we were able to fish out 2 bags of cans, glass bottles, bits of plastic, helium cans, labels and even a camping chair. Throughout this year we have visited without fail every month and found newts, frog spawn and other creatures living in this pond. Family's come on the ride to explore nature and if that means making environments safer and cleaner for wildlife we will do it!
