We now offer die sink and wire spark erosion services to compliment the CNC milling and turning.
Spark Eroding is also known as Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). The workpiece can be any electrically conductive material.
The die sink machine uses a shaped electrode to cut the workpiece.
The CNC 4 axis Fanuc Wire EDM machine uses a 0.25mm wire to cut the material up to 150mm thickness. It can produce vertical or tapered cuts.
As you can see in the pictures, wire EDM is perfect for precision keyways, intricate shapes and delicate workpieces.
