Join us at Old Basing Tennis Club for three weeks of fun-filled summer camps running from 3rd August – 20th August.

📅 Monday – Thursday
⏰ 9:00am – 4:00pm
✅ Early drop-off and late pick-up available

Each day includes:
🎾 Different tennis coaching themes
🏃‍♀️ Multi-sport activities in the afternoons
🏆 Afternoon tennis tournaments
😊 Lots of fun, friends and games!

Our camps are suitable for players aged 5-15 of all abilities and are designed to help children improve their tennis skills, stay active, and enjoy their summer in a fun and supportive environment.

After a week of rain, a glorious afternoon of sunshine for our second American Tournament this year. Some excellent rallies and very close games. Well played to all players, thanks to Jane and Lynn for organising the day and providing tea and cake, and many congratulations to joint winners Tony and Adrian 🎾😎🍾

Basingstoke and District Tennis League now have a new website, page and Instagram page.

The website will be updated with information about the goings on around the league, as well as information on past seasons/competitions and upcoming events.

There is a section called "Affiliated Clubs" where there are links to the websites of each club that currently competes in the League.

Lots of tennis in the sunshine this evening. Junior coaching on Court 1 up until 6pm and all courts being used for Club Night social play. It was good to see so many new members on court and all of our Committee members in attendance. Well played everyone. See you next time 😎🎾

An excellent evening was had by all at last night's Quiz Night. Congratulations to wining team 'A Local Racquet' and well played to all teams. Many thanks to Quizmaster Jim for some brilliant and tricky questions!

Many congratulations to Jane Reap, our amazing Treasurer, who has been awarded the LTA President’s Award for Hampshire & IOW for 2025. The Award was presented to Jane by Lois Nash, the LTA President for Hampshire & IOW, at the LTA Showcase event in Southampton on 18 April 2026.
Our Club Chair, Nigel Hatt, nominated Jane for all the work she has done for the club since joining the Committee in 2019.

What a fantastic afternoon of tennis at our first American Tournament this year! Eight ladies and eight men played in different mixed pairs, each playing short four-game sets before swapping partners. Tea and cake were enjoyed midway through the afternoon. The beautiful weather made for perfect tennis conditions, and it was lovely to have some social members come down to watch the great matches. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and well played to everyone!
Congratulations to Mike and Rumen, joint winners for the men, and to Jane, the winning lady.
