Congratulations to Sue Kelly, our Member of the Month for May! 🥳

Sue has transformed her wellbeing and lifestyle through a quietly determined approach and consistent discipline.

Thanks to her hard work and dedication she has lost weight, built stamina, gained flexibility and generated impressive core capability. 💚

She is a great member and a supportive co exerciser. Sue is interested in others and cares about their wellbeing. Sue is an example to all of us. She more than earns her Saturday morning brunch!

According to Sue - “Hitsona is where I NEED to be. The coach’s and fellow members are amazing. Without your continuous support I could not have achieved a 4.5 stone weight loss, I am now the healthiest and fittest I have been for many, many years”

Congrats! 🙌

"Who comes to Hitsona?"

I had a chat with a marketing guy last week.

He wanted to help me “get hundreds of new members” for Hitsona.

I don’t want hundreds of new members.

I just want a few more likeminded people who are a good fit and will enjoy our set up and approach.

He asked me who a “typical Hitsona person” is.

So I made a list of the kind of people who end up loving it here:

👋 Busy parents juggling work, kids and trying to look after themselves
🤗 Retirees who want to stay active and improve their health
👶 New mums getting back into exercise after having a baby
👵 Grandparents who want the energy to keep up with the grandkids
💚 People on a big weight loss journey after time away from exercise
⛑️ Teachers, nurses, shift and blue light workers fitting sessions around real life
👩‍❤️‍👨 Couples supporting each other to be healthier and happier
😎People preparing for a birthday, anniversary, holiday or special event
🙃 Brand new members who are nervous about what’s in store (most people)
🤪 Long time members who love the buzz and the laughs

We don’t have a “type” in terms of age, background, or fitness level.

But we definitely have a type in terms of mindset, people who want:

Coaching and guidance,

Structure and accountability,

A friendly safe community where they can work hard and have a laugh.

If that sounds like you just send us a DM and we can schedule a chat.

A big congratulations to Colin and Toyoko, our Members of the Month for April! 🎉

Both Colin and Toyoko are true Hitsoners; hard working, determined and fun. They are very popular Members, everyone looks forward to learning the latest fun fact from quiz expert Colin, and listening to the amazing range of sounds Toyoko can generate from the machines.

Both have really improved their all round fitness. Colin has developed impressive core strength and improved flexibility, whilst Toyota has amazing stamina and greatly improved her upper body strength.

According to Colin and Toyoko:

"Huge thanks to Hitsona for being such an amazing fitness family. We were somewhat anxious about finding somewhere we would fit in, not being "gym bunnies", but we couldn't have been made more welcome over the year and a bit we've been members now. Our fitness has improved, and we've loved getting to know the other members - plus the quizzes! Huge kudos to Andrew and his team."

Congratulations Colin and Toyoko! 💚

NOT FOOLING WITH FITNESS 💪

Today is April Fools Day. At Hitsona we like a laugh – however when it comes to
your health we don’t fool around.

Instead of a joke today, here’s some advice;

DON’T BE FOOLED BY;

CHEAP GYMS – Some gyms seem remarkably cheap, but are they value for money? Not if they are crowded and confusing, not when the machines are always busy and the classes fully booked and nobody offers to help.

DON’T BE FOOLED BY;

QUICK FIXES AND FADS – Miracle diets and fitness short cuts are tempting, and there are lots! The reality is that they very rarely produce results that last. To make sustainable changes takes time and effort, however in the right place and with the right support it can be done and it be fun.

At Hitsona we are not fooled by gimmicks, quick fixes and fads. We take your health, fitness and well-being seriously 💚

There’s a version of you who actually enjoys exercise.

Not because life magically gets easier…but because the way you exercise finally matches the life you live.

Most people in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s don’t need punishment.

They need something that fits their pace, their confidence, their energy, their reality.

That’s why Hitsona works so well.

25-minute sessions.

A coach guiding everything.

Small groups where you are included and encouraged, but never judged.

A place where you can show up tired, busy, stressed or nervous and still feel like you belong.

Give yourself a chance to exercise in a way that suits the person you are now, not the person you used to be - or the person in the reels or on TV.

If you want to explore what that could look like, DM us for more info.
