π£ TRUTH BOMB TUESDAY π£
Normally, on my PT page, we celebrate the before and afters.
The weight loss.
The PBs.
The inches lost.
The photos where someone is feeling amazing and finally seeing all their hard work paying off. β€οΈ
And I LOVE celebrating those wins.
But today, I want to show you something a little different.
For me, the comparison is going in the opposite direction.
This is me one year ago compared with me now.
And honestly? I find this really hard.
I'm unhappy in my body at the moment. I don't like how I look in photos, and I definitely don't find it easy putting this comparison out there.
I'm a PT. I'm supposed to have all the answers, right?
Well... I don't.
I'm still trying to figure out what's going on with my body. I'm trying to manage the weight gain, I've made changes, I've put the work in β and right now, it's not going to plan.
And that's frustrating.
Because sometimes our bodies don't respond in the way we expect them to. Sometimes things change. Sometimes what worked before doesn't work anymore. And sometimes we have to take a step back, reassess, change direction and adapt.
Progress isn't linear.
There will be times we move forwards, times we plateau and sometimes times we feel like we've gone backwards.
That doesn't mean we've failed.
It doesn't erase everything we've achieved before.
It doesn't mean we should give up.
And it certainly doesn't make us any less worthy.
So I'm sharing this because I want my page to show the reality of fitness and body changes, not just the highlight reel.
I'm still here.
I'm still working on it.
I'm still learning.
And I'm still figuring out what my body needs.
Maybe you're in the same position right now.
If you are, please know you're not alone. β€οΈ
Sometimes the biggest win is simply refusing to give up when things aren't going the way you hoped.
