Basic 30min run 🥶

Smashed a 5k LTHR (lactate Threshold heart rate) last week so got some data to work with.

Tonight’s Run:
10min Z1 WU : 147bpm or less
20min Z2 Run : 147 - 153bpm

Basic run but building. I’ve excepted I can’t run quick, I’ve excepted I’m not a strong runner, but I’m not shying away from a weakness, instead I’m looking to build from my strengths and keep building a stronger engine!

5K a day for January 🏃🏽‍♂️ ❌

So…… tried 5k a day for January and didn’t go to plan! Oh well……

Managed 24 days out of 31 and completing 129km (80.1mile) rather than 155km!

Win some you lose some but I’m looking at it like this……….
That’s 24 more active days in the locker - more miles in the pins - got January done - set the year up - mentally stronger - set a 2nd fastest 5k - ran a fastest mile & fastest 1k - got running stronger & more!

But most of all…… still managed to be the best Dad I can be, coping with everyday life, work 2 jobs and be the best supporting partner to me bestie (and you to me mind yung 😎) ……… anyway, cheers January 🖕🏼 ello February!
