NEW 100 CLUB MEMBER 🚨 🎾
Awesome work from Ruby during the junior club play this afternoon. Who had a bit of fun with coach Shaun and had a go at the 100 club challenge (rally of 100 at suitable tempo/level for player).
Not only did she join the club, she absolutely smashed it out the park by getting 135 shots!! 🥳
She was determined, went at it for about 30-40 minutes, Shaun wasn’t easy on her and Ruby wouldn’t give up until she got it. BIG fan of this attitude.
Incredible work Ruby 👏
Who else is getting in the club this term?

Today our U8s from (Green) and (Blue) played in the Wiltshire U8s team tennis event hosted at Delta Tennis Centre.
The boys had an awesome time, playing some great tennis, showing plenty of concentration, effort, and fair play. We couldn’t have been prouder of them and it was all their first time playing in a competitive tennis event.
Highlight of the day was the local derby, when both teams played against each other, awesome support from both teams for their players!
Thank you to the parents who helped with the team organisation, and shout out to Jacob, who just missed the photo at the end here with both teams 😊

New courses are all ready for the summer term of 2025.
The course focuses on building tennis skills and having fun learning simple sign language. The sessions combine the physical exercise of tennis with themes, colours, visuals, and imagination. All the money will be reinvested back into the community.

Meet The Team - Marcin
What Do You Do at Blue Sky Tennis:
Hi everyone I’m one of the tennis coaches at Blue Sky Tennis.
What Got You Into Tennis:
I’m a sporty person, I started playing tennis quite late. The first time I picked up a racket was aged 16 then again at 23 and I decided to change from football to tennis I joined my local club (Trowbridge Tennis Club) and start playing league matches and tournaments. I’m really competitive and love to spend my time on the tennis court.
What Is Your Favourite Shot and Why?
My favourite shot is the passing shot backhand down the line on the slide (don’t try this at home).
What Are Your Other Sports/Hobbies?
I love to cycle, run, ski, ski jumping, ice skating, roller skating, don’t like football anymore (after 16 years on the pitch). The one activity I love to do apart from sport is music. I love to rap, write new lyrics and produce music in my studio. I wish to have time for all the activities as I haven’t been able to do some of them for a while!
If you could pick any 3 people with (dead or alive) who would they be?
Definitely would love to play doubles with Gael Monfils, Dustin Brown and Nick Kyrgios. It would great to see what crazy trick shots would unfold on court.

Meet The Coach - Connor
What do you do at Blue Sky Tennis?
I am the youngest (apparently not looks wise) of the BlueSky coaches and I teach group and individual lessons to players of all ages and abilities.
What got you in to tennis?
I first picked up a racket at aged 4, then I took a very slow ball to the face and quit for 2 years. I eventually picked the racket back up at 6 and haven’t put it down since. I played mostly socially until I was 16 when I started competing and looking to improve my game, joining the Summer league doubles in Gloucestershire.
What is your favourite shot and why?
I always love a down the line backhand passing shot, on the slide I feel like Djokovic!
What are your other sports/hobbies?
I love to go to the gym and I have recently got into golf, I am absolutely rubbish 99% of the time but 1% of the time I feel I should be on the Liv Golf Tour.
If you could pick any 3 people to play doubles with (dead or alive) who would they be?
Tough decision, a lot of good names have been taken already. I have been told I look like Ryan Gosling so I’ll have him there, Lleyton Hewitt was my idol growing up so I couldn’t not pick him, and final choice would be Tom Holland as I am a big Marvel cinema fan.
