🚴♂️ Introducing Team Bath Human Powered
This weekend we took our low-rider to its first official race a big milestone for the team.
It was a proper learning experience. We built confidence lap by lap and started to see what the bike can do, but also quickly found the limits. Pushing harder in the second race led to a wobble we couldn’t recover from, ending in a crash and a DNF.
Frustrating in the moment, but part of the process.
We’ve come away with valuable insight into handling, stability, and rider control, along with great feedback from more experienced teams. Most importantly, it’s clear there’s real potential in the bike.
This was just the starting point now it’s about refining, improving, and coming back stronger.
More to come 🔧

The team recently headed up to Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub to meet with Vorteq Sports to discuss the aerodynamics associated with the fairing. Our technical Lead Adam completed a 12 month placement at Vorteq Sports, and introduced us to some of the team. Vorteq were kind enough to give us a tour of the wind tunnel and answer our questions which will be of great use as Adam begins working on CFD.
