What a fantastic start to the summer! ☀️

Last week saw the launch of our brand-new Holiday Club programme, and it was amazing to see children embracing all of the exciting new activity zones. The refreshed programme has been designed to offer even more variety, giving every child the chance to discover something they love while staying active, making friends and creating unforgettable summer memories.

Across Roundhill and WASPS, children enjoyed everything from Team Games and Wild Adventures to Move & Groove, alongside plenty of other exciting activities throughout the week. The feedback from children has been fantastic, and we can’t wait to keep the fun going!

We had a fascinating meeting on Wednesday afternoon with Chris Pile, Founder and Managing Director of Sporting Sensations.
Chris's vision is captured perfectly in the company's strapline: "more than sport: confidence, character and community".
Sporting Sensations has been going since 2018 and is delivering activities across 8 schools in the Bath area offering everything from gymnastics and team sports to cheer leading and other opportunities that schools may not always be able to provide.
It's inspiring to see young people being given a chance to try new activities and build confidence through sport.
Particularly exciting is Chris's ambition to introduce swimming pools into schools, not only to help children become competent swimmers but also to equip them with the skills and confidence to stay safe in open water.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable meeting. Chris is an enthusiastic and driven entrepreneur who we came across when he was a finalist at the Bath Dragons competition, and we wish him every success as his business continues to grow.
We look forward to following his progress, and when the first new school swimming pool opens we will be there to see it in action.

🚨 Sports Educator Required – Immediate Start 🚨

Due to increased demand and some unexpected staffing changes, we're looking for an experienced Sports Educator to join the
Sporting Sensations team on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year.

We're looking for someone who:
✅ Has experience working within a primary school setting
✅ Can confidently deliver PE and sports sessions
✅ Builds positive relationships with children and staff
✅ Is reliable, enthusiastic and professional
✅ Has strong positive behaviour management skills

This is a great opportunity for an experienced coach, sports educator, teacher, teaching assistant or PE specialist looking to pick up additional work over the next few weeks.
