Our Introduction to Women's Paceline ride takes place again this Thursday 30th April.

We've focused on riding safely and efficiently as a group so far, but there's so much more to learn. It is a training ride, so we are aiming to work together to build up our skills and strength in the coming weeks.

You need to be comfortable with riding in a group, but no paceline experience is necessary to join this ride.

So, if you've been looking for a friendly group of women to ride with regularly, NOW is the time to join us!

Last week, we launched our Introduction to Women's Paceline for the year. 🙌

In our first few sessions, we will focus on riding safely and efficiently as a group. This will help us build on our strength and collective pace over the coming weeks.

This ride is best suited to women who already have some group riding experience, but who want to learn new skills and work as a team. No previous paceline experience is necessary though.

It’s probably a little less sociable than some of our other rides, with more of a steady, tempo pace, but it’s a really rewarding way to ride, and great fun once it clicks. Plus, as the evenings get lighter, we have the option of being more sociable at the afterwards.

Sunday served up a perfect spring day for the John Witty Reliability Ride 🌼🚴

More than 80 riders from Bath came together to remember John, enjoy some great roads, and raise money to help fight cancer.

Great routes, great riders, great vibes.

Huge thanks to everyone from VC Walcot, Bath CC, and the other clubs who supported the day. Together we raised over £350 🙌

Our annual Bath CC John Witty Reliability Ride is coming up on Sunday 19 April.
There will be three routes heading to the Pewsey Vale with the option of completing the Westbury White Horse scenic climb! While this not a race we have selected 5 segments for those who’d like to test their legs.
The ride is also open to all, so pass the word around. 
The club’s chosen charity this year is in support of Cure Leukaemia and donations will be much appreciated.

🚴‍♀️ International Women’s Day Ride – This Sunday! 🌼

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Bath Cycling Club is hosting a Women’s Drop-in Ride this Sunday 8th March – and everyone is welcome.

Whether you ride every week or you’re thinking about joining your first ever group ride, this is a relaxed and friendly way to get involved.

✨ What to expect:
• A sociable 40 km ride at a comfortable pace
• No pressure, no drop vibes
• A time-efficient, straight-through route
• Optional coffee and chat at the end ☕

It’s all about celebrating women in cycling, meeting new people, and enjoying a chilled Sunday morning on the bike.

💛 All abilities welcome – especially newcomers.

Our first Time Trial event this year is coming up on the 8th March. Open to everyone, you can also enter with your regular bike in the dedicated road bike category.
Register by the 24th February.
