Team Bath Futures Athlete Development Programme
The Futures Athlete Development Program offers group Strength & Conditioning sessions with qualified S&C coaches.
Futures is looking for athletes between the ages of 10-18 years old who take part in a range of sports or who have a chosen sport and are competing to a high level within their age group at Regional, National and International level. The Futures Athlete Development Program objective is to maximize the potential of people from the South West to progress to elite levels in sport by providing support

This past weekend Jolie futures athlete was racing in the Great British Racing (GBR) Outdoors series. This series is the most challenging and prestigious, outside of the British National Championships which take place during August, and Jolie secured 1st place in U16 female and 2nd overall female out of a field of 56 female competitors congratulations to Jolie!

Congratulations to Futures athlete ,Thomas Johnson, who represented Team GB at the European Triathle Championships, that were held in Madeira, Portugal.
The Triathle is a Modern Pentathlon event and consists of several laps of a course that includes continuous run, shoot and swim elements.
This was Thomas’ first International competition since moving up into the u15 age group and finished in tenth place overall.

Congratulations to Vince futures athlete who had a very successful YDL athletics match in Bournemouth on Sunday. Competing for Team Dorset in the 200m, 300m, 4x100m and 4x300m ... sprinting 900m in one afternoon.
200m he led most of the way, finishing 2nd with a time of 25.4secs, just 1/10th away from his PB of 25.3secs.
300m, starting on the inside lane, he cruised past the field and led the last 200m finishing a comfortable 1st place with a PB of 39.8secs.
4x100m Vince opened the race with a quick run leaving the team ahead into the first change and winning overall.
4x300m Vince had the anchor leg and thanks to him and the 3rd leg sprinter, the team came from behind, in last place, to win the race.

Congratulations to Futures Athlete Jack Williams who made the National Swimming Finals for IAPS Schools. Just 20 twenty swimmers are invited to the finals (for each stroke) after a nationwide series of heats. The Finals were at the Olympic pool in London. Jack came 17th overall in the country and improved his personal best time by 1.55s.
