What an incredible weekend at !

On Saturday morning over 800 families took part in the the Mile Run, which epic! As well as a fantastic shakeout run at the new gym in collaboration with BFF with over 150 people coming down.

Sunday was all about the half marathon, and I was so proud to represent a community that supports everyone, so it was extra special to see one of our runners be asked to open the race as well as see some of our amazing runners repping BFF many of who said they wouldn’t dream of doing a half marathon a year ago!

A massive shoutout to the Bath store for their amazing support & for fitting our team with the very best tops, they looked great.

I finished with a time of 1:24:56, which I was very happy with, especially after starting out way too fast, thinking I was running in kilometers when, in fact, my watch was set to miles!

This city truly is a special place, with incredible crowds & it’s an absolute buzz, if you haven’t done the you must do it!

ADULT PE…
was the first comp I remember watching back in to 2018 when I had a fractured L4. I saw these guys from Bath throwing it down in a thing called ‘CrossFit’ I was itching to get involved.

Fast forward to last weekend I was lucky enough to be on the same team as Al, Sammy, Nat, Laura & Steffi who I watched back then as well as an incredibly talented team since then & represent .

Three ways to achieve gratitude - perhaps the most beautiful of all emotions.

1) Scarcity and Expiration: Like the quote above, when you know you have a limited amount of time, with a person, with a place, with your life... it’s easier to be grateful and present for those moments.

2) Novelty and Surprise: When something is new and different, or exceeds your expectations in any way… it is easier to be grateful and present.

3) Choice: Gratitude and presence can be a practice. It can be something you decide to do, with your whole heart, your emotions, and your imagination. Like working out, meditating, or discipline, it’s something you train.
