Today’s MOTM goes to Jacob, who volunteered to go into goals after our GK picked up an injury during the week. Jacob is a real team player, and it takes some amount bravery and courage to step into such a pressured position with little practice. He made several good saves and clearances and should be really proud of his performance and contribution to the team💪👏👏👏

A really close fought game, with Coatbridge just edging it to take the points. Well done to the boys for battling right to the end. We had plenty of chances in the second half and really felt there was another goal or two coming - we didn’t want the whistle to blow!

We’ve been extremely unlucky with injuries within the squad in the lead-up to this game and the start of the season, and then picked up another injury just a few minutes into today’s match, leaving us with no subs. Despite these challenges, the boys pulled together and gave a good account of themselves right to the final whistle 💪

We wish a speedy recovery to our injured players and hope to have them back soon 🤗

Tonight’s MOTM goes to Shay for his hard work and bravery on the pitch💪 He put his body on the line to win the ball and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet after chasing down the goalkeeper. 👏👏

It wasn’t our night tonight and we never really got going, failing to match our usual level of play. A tough one for the boys to take, but hopefully there are lessons to be learned and we can bounce back in our game on Saturday. 🤍⚽️
