A fantastic day of golf at Bearsden on Saturday as Finals Day 2 brought another busy season of knockout competitions to a close. ⛳

🏆 Bearsden Golf Club – Finals Day 2 🏆

Another big day of golf awaits at Bearsden as Finals Day 2 takes place today.

The action gets underway from 8:40am, with a packed schedule of finals taking place throughout the day. From our Junior Club Championship through to Gents singles and pairs competitions, there are plenty of trophies up for grabs! 🏆

A huge congratulations to everyone who has made it through to Finals Day, and the very best of luck to all our players.

Members, friends and family are encouraged to come along, follow the matches and support our finalists throughout the day.

🍻 The clubhouse and bar will be open, so come along, enjoy the golf and make a day of it!

A day to remember at Bearsden Golf Club ⛳️

It’s difficult to capture everything that made our official opening such a special occasion, but this video gives a brilliant snapshot of a fantastic day at the club.

A packed clubhouse, a busy course and so many members, families, friends and guests coming together to celebrate everything that has been achieved — and, more importantly, what lies ahead for Bearsden Golf Club.

🏆 DGU CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS FINAL 🏆

Best of luck to Chris Clark, who will contest the DGU Champion of Champions Final at Hayston Golf Club on Saturday 29th August! ⛳️

Chris has already enjoyed a fantastic season, including being crowned DGU Matchplay Champion, and now has the opportunity to add another prestigious title to his name.

Hope to see as many BGC members as possibly there on the day to cheer Chris on. Best of luck wee man!

Saturday 8th August marked a truly monumental day in the history of Bearsden Golf Club ⛳️

To have three-time DP World Tour winner and one of our very own, Ewen Ferguson, hit the commemorative opening drive to officially open our new course layout and clubhouse was an incredibly special moment for everyone at the club.

After completing nine holes, Ewen shared his thoughts on the new layout, the changes to the course and the challenges it will now present to our members and visitors.

A massive ‘thank you’ to Team Ferguson; Ewen, Bearsden Golf Club is incredibly proud to be your home 🏠⛳️

🏆 DGU MATCHPLAY CHAMPION! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our very own Chris Clark, who was crowned DGU Matchplay Champion last night at Clober Golf Club! 👏⛳️

Chris faced Angus McKay (Clydebank & District) in a fantastic final, with both players producing some brilliant top class golf.

The match went all the way to the 18th green, where Chris held his nerve to clinch the victory and bring the title home to Bearsden!

A fantastic achievement — superb wee man! 🏆👏
