FULL-TIME | LONGFIELD TIGERS 3–1 BEARSTED ROVERS ⚽️🐻

Not the result we wanted, but plenty to be positive about from the performance.

The scoreline doesn’t really tell the story of the game. The lads controlled large periods and the stats show the level of football we produced:

📊 63% possession
⚽ 11 shots
🎯 12 total attempts
🔄 177 completed passes
🚩 5 corners

We moved the ball well, competed throughout and created opportunities — we just weren’t decisive enough when it mattered, while Longfield took their chances.

Stepping up and playing at this level is going to test us, and that’s exactly what we want. There’s lots to build on from today and plenty more to come from this group.

A good performance, despite the result. We’ll learn, improve and expect the levels to rise every week. 📈

Following our successful Division 3 Championship-winning season, Bearsted Rovers U13 are now preparing for life in Maidstone Youth League Division 1 and are looking to strengthen our squad with talented, committed players.

We are particularly interested in players currently playing at Division 2 level or above who are looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to continue their development.

Huge congratulations to all the players, coaches, and families on being named Team of the Year for U7 to U12 at Bearsted. An incredible achievement and so well deserved after all the hard work, commitment, teamwork, and passion shown throughout the season.

Every player should be proud of what they’ve achieved both on and off the pitch. The future is bright for this amazing group! 🏆👏

20 appearances. 12 league clean sheets. An unbelievable season between the sticks 🔥

From the moment he joined the squad, Isaac has completely transformed this team. He’s brought incredible talent, confidence and hunger to the group, raising standards every single week and giving the whole team belief.

His performances, leadership and presence have been outstanding all season long, producing big saves in big moments and becoming a player every teammate can trust.

A massive congratulations to Charlie Barker on winning the Bearsted Rovers Coaches’ Player award for the 2025-26 season 👏💙

Charlie has been the relentless engine in midfield all season long. The player who never stops running, never stops battling and always finds a way to drag the team forward when it matters most.

Whether it’s controlling the tempo of the game, pulling the team out of difficult moments, or popping up with goals for fun — especially with his head! — Charlie has been absolutely outstanding this season.

And if there’s one thing everyone knows… you’d struggle to get the ball off him in a postbox 😂⚽

A massive congratulations to Toby Mortimer on winning the Bearsted Rovers Supporters’ Player award for the 2025-26 season 👏⚽

Toby has been an absolute rock at the heart of the defence this season. Strong, committed and fearless in every challenge, he’s made himself a permanent name on the team sheet week after week.

What stands out even more is how much he has grown as both a player and a leader. The supporters and parents can all see the confidence, maturity and determination developing every game, and this award is recognition of the impact he’s had on the whole team.

Harry has been unstoppable in front of goal this season. Clinical finishing, intelligent movement and a constant threat every time he steps onto the pitch. Whether it’s a crucial goal, a moment of magic or a big-game performance, Harry has delivered time and time again.

To retain the Golden Boot two seasons in a row is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the hard work and dedication he brings every single week.

Rowan’s development this season has been incredible to watch. His confidence on the ball, work rate and understanding of the game have grown week after week, and he’s become such an important part of the team both on and off the pitch.
