Beauly win the MOWI National Primary Girls Cup 🏆
A huge crowd gathered at The Eilean in Newtonmore to watch the MOWI National Primary Girls Cup final between Beauly and Glasgow Gales.
The match was played over 10 minutes each way, with both teams lining up in a six-a-side format.
The opening 5 minutes were closely contested, with little separating the two sides. Beauly created the slightly better chances, and their pressure eventually paid off just before half-time when Lexi Ross opened the scoring to put Beauly 1-0 ahead.

Beauly started the second half strongly and soon doubled their advantage. Ross struck brilliantly from distance to score her second goal of the match and put Beauly 2-0 ahead with 5 minutes remaining.
Beauly continued to apply pressure, with some fantastic pressing play leading to a third goal and putting them firmly in control.
With virtually the final strike of the match, Maisie Williamson added a fourth for Beauly with a superb finish to complete an impressive second-half performance.

The result secured the MOWI National Primary Girls Cup title for Beauly following an outstanding 4-0 victory over Glasgow Gales.
It was a fantastic spectacle for everyone in attendance, with both teams showcasing some superb shinty throughout the match. The players from both sides can be immensely proud of their performances and the effort they put into the final.
The Player of the Match award went to Beauly’s Lexi Ross following her excellent individual performance, which included two goals.
Congratulations to Lexi and the entire Beauly team on a fantastic victory and a thoroughly deserved national title. 🏆
