This weekends games have now been rescheduled. Due to the later start to the season, this Friday and Saturday’s games have now been moved to the 11th and 12th Sept (Confirmed details below)

Saturday 12th Sept - (A) 15.00
Men’s 2XV v Southwark, and Streatham & Croydon

The men’s squad had a solid start to the season in warm conditions down in Somerset.

Big shout out to everyone at Midsomer Norton RFC and to Lovejoy Chawatama for hosting us. Big thanks for the warm welcome, for the Bbq and breakfast.

We have had some changes to the upcoming pre-season fixtures. Update coming tomorrow but please note that there will be no games this coming Friday or Saturday.

MEN’S PRE-SEASON GAMES

Saturday 22nd Aug
Despite the news that the season will be two weeks later starting due to the drought and pitch conditions across the South east, the men's first team squad are still full steam ahead in training. This weekend, that training will be put to the test as we set off for the first pre-season fixture of 2026/27 v Midsomer Norton RFC (near Bath) where ex- forwards coach and Beckenham boy, now Bristol Bears professional Lovejoy Chawatama is now a coach. Anyone in the area is welcome to come along and support.

The team list will be published on our socials on Friday, and we'll be updating instagram throughout the day, so follow along if you want to see how the game and camping weekend goes 🏕️

Midsomer will be keeping an eye on their pitches in the lead up to Saturday, just to make sure it’s safe for everyone (as per RFU guidance).

Then next weekend it’s FNL
1st XV v London Irish Wild Geese - 19.45 KO (H)
Back at our house at Balmoral - Bar will be open (timings TBC).

Saturday 29th Aug
As if FNL wasn't enough, the 2nd XV travel to Streatham and Croydon RFC to play a triangular fixture also featuring Southwark RFC.

18, 19 and 20 August

Beckenham RFC Summer Rugby Camps return this July and August, offering children aged 5-16 the opportunity to enjoy rugby, stay active and develop their skills in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

Led by Graham Purdy, RFU Advanced Coach (ERACA) and Director of Rugby at Beckenham RFC and Langley Park School for Boys, the camps are designed for players of all abilities. Whether your child is completely new to the game or already plays regularly, our experienced coaching team will help them build confidence, improve their skills and enjoy the sport.

𝙈𝙚𝙣’𝙨 2𝗻𝗱 𝙓𝙑 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩

Congratulations to Luke Jebb, who will lead our Men’s 2nd XV as captain for the 2026/27 season.

A product of the Beckenham youth set-up, Luke left the club at 17 before returning two seasons ago. Since then, he has shown huge commitment to the 2nd XV while also earning opportunities with the 1st XV through his hard work and dedication.

Here's what Luke had to say:
"I'm really pleased to be taking this on and looking forward to leading the boys out this season. We've got a great group, and I'm excited to help drive the standards, enjoy our rugby, and see what we can achieve”

Congratulations, Skip. We can't wait to see what you and the lads achieve this season. 👏
