Dear Members,

Preparations are underway for the Beckenham RFC Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on 29th June. Megan Pain, as our honourable secretary, will be coordinating and is preparing a variety of documents to be sent out. All will be placed in the AGM folder on the website.

https://www.beckenhamrfc.com/news/agm--monday-29th-june-2980019.html

For those members new to the club, nominations are required for specific volunteer posts within the club, many of which then make up the management and general committee (further details of the club rules and regulations are available on the website).

We hope to see you there!

Rugby was the winner yesterday, but for the purposes of the post both the menโ€™s and ladies squads were the actual winners on the day. Well played all in some extreme conditions!

The Menโ€™s 1XV claimed the George Crowther Cup with the winning conversion being taken by Rob Willden ๐Ÿ†

What a fantastic club day!

Thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, worked the bar, ran the bbq, and supported. Thanks for making it such great day ๐Ÿ‘

๐๐š๐š ๐๐š๐šโ€™๐ฌ

Today (21st May) marks 10 years since we sadly lost Paul Skelly, friend to many and ex Club Chairman. Skelโ€™s loved this fixture and was team manager for the 2016 game, so itโ€™s fitting that we play this weekend.

We are looking forward to this famous fixture, and to welcoming all of our ex blue and gold players from across the years to face our current menโ€™s and ladies senior teams.

Previous fixtures were played in 2010, 2011, 2016, 2017 and 2022. Currently itโ€™s 3-2 to the Baabaaโ€™s. Teams will be playing for the George Crowther Cup.
