A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Boathouse Summer Party yesterday. From the water park and BBQ to the live music and plenty of laughs, it was fantastic to see so many of our members enjoying time together.

When we opened The Boathouse four years ago, our vision was simple: build more than just a gym. Build a community.

Seeing so many friendships, conversations and smiles reminds us why we do what we do. Stronger together, on and off the gym floor. πŸ’™

IT'S CLIENT TESTIMONY TIME!!

And here we have Jenny who has been a member of The Boathouse Health and Fitness for just over a month now

At first she was very nervous as are lots when they join a new gym but here's what she had to say about our lakeside experience....

I first messaged the Boat House back in 2024 but was too nervous to follow it up and do anything about it. Fast forward a further two years and some extra pounds, I started looking again at ways of getting fit, losing some weight and getting rid of some of the aches and pains that I suffered from being sat at a desk all day. Still following the community on Facebook, I made contact again online and arranged to attend my first session. When I went along I was so nervous and anxious, with little fitness ability and confidence and I almost backed out thinking that I would feel intimidated with my lack of experience and extra body weight. However, I was welcomed into the environment warmly and openly and encouraged throughout my first session (and every session since) not just by the boathouse team but by all the members too. Four weeks later, I look forward to my workouts at the boathouse. My flexibility and fitness appears to have come on in leaps and bounds and I am feeling so much better and healthier. The niggly pains I experienced from my desk job have almost all gone and I can see huge improvements in my energy levels and general wellbeing and I sleep so much better. I still feel like I have a long way to go and would love to be able to do a full sit up but I know with encouragement and support that I’ll get there eventually. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Boathouse to anyone that is considering joining. I am really grateful to have found a non intimidating, safe, relaxed and enjoyable community to be part of. Come along and give it a try - you won’t regret it. Thanks to the whole team at Boathouse.
