The RFU have confirmed that the start of the league season has been postponed until the week commencing 21st September due to the current pitch conditions.

We’ll share updated fixture information as soon as it is confirmed.

Introducing - our new Physio, Lara!

As well as welcoming some new faces to the coaching team, it is our delight to announce that we also have a new Physio on board - Lara. Here are some words from Lara herself,

“Hi everyone, my name is Lara and I am delighted to be joining the club medical team for the up and season.

Having worked with athletes in a variety of sporting environments, I understand the physical demands of rugby and the importance of getting players back on the pitch safely and effectively.
I’m excited to become part of the club community, get to know the players, coaches, and supporters, and contribute to a successful season both on and off the field.
Please feel free to introduce yourself if you see me around the club—I’m always happy to chat and answer any questions.

Callum Ross is the latest addition to The Ath ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Arriving from Biggleswade, Callum brings a decent rugby background to Putnoe Woods, having represented East Midlands Seniors this season, alongside previous spells with Brunel University and Henley Hawks.

Comfortable across the second row and back row, Callum adds more versatility to our forward pack.
