We have had a great week exploring with maps with the fantastic Year 5 children from Loughton Primary.

This morning HB12 were getting stuck into a map reading activity involving Lego. We are working with one of the Chellington volunteers, Clare, who first spent some time talking to the children about the importance of maps and helping them to create their own maps using their Lego creations.

Great day at the Harrold Pit Run today.
Jacquie Allen won the £100 buried in the owl box. She guessed the closest square to Harrold riverbank near to the bridge and we dug it up for her. She was delighted and rode off on her bicycle! Congratulations Jacquie, and thanks to everyone who joined in today!!
