24 Hour Swim Challenge

We know how you guys love a 24hr challenge... last weekend one of our swimmers (Andrew) took to the roads and cycled the total height of Everest, non-stop, over a distance of more than 260 miles in a mammoth challenge to again raise money for charity. The event was a huge success having finished in 21.5hrs, and he is so close to his fundraising target. It was 3 months ago that we undertook this gruelling challenge – a few donations have still been coming in, and taking the Gift Aid into consideration, we’re now near the £5000 mark!! This has been an amazing effort by everyone involved, and we’d just like to extend our thanks once again.

The whole team moments after the finish - smashing both targets - swimming more than 65 miles and raising over £3000!

Folks, we've had an update from the donations at Robinson Pool over the weekend - over £450 has been counted, so this officially brings our total over the target when added to the online donations!! Thanks again to everyone who helped, watched, supported and donated - it all kept us going!

We've done it - 65 miles in 24 hours!!!!!!! And we think we've nearly made the £3000 target! Thanks to everyone for their support!
