4 points from the last game of the season against Elstow B means that the A team finishes the season in a clear 3rd place in Division 2. Once again Fes won his 3 singles and avenged an early season defeat against Tom Oliver, so ends his season with an average around 95% which is phenomenal. Martin is in Cyprus so thanks to Neil for playing up as well as in the last match for the B team. A 5-5 draw was on the cards but Emilio lost 3 games from a winning position against Danny Amey and the doubles also went against us.

Div 3 - BCTTC C 7 v 3 Southill B - Wednesday 16th March 2016
A great win for the C team that is likely to move them out of the relegation zone in Division 3. It's encouraging for BCTTC that our C team can beat Southill's B team, who were in 3rd place prior to this match, so convincingly. Tim Kirby was man of the match winning all his games while Harve Swamynathan enjoyed a good win against Chris Hart. Mick Beveridge won the deciding game in his match against Chris followed by a comfortable victory over John Le Warne before losing out 0-3 to Dante Lacorte who was Southill's best player on the night. Nevertheless a priceless 7 league points were confirmed with a win by Mick and Tim in an evenly matched doubles.

Div 2 - BCCTC A v St Neots C - Wed 9th March 2016
A last minute change of personnel as Martin Lewis had to duck out at short notice and we were fortunate that Fes was available. Valentin Cazacu (Vali) stepped up for his first outing in Div 2 and showed his class immediately with a totally dominant display in game 1 of his match against Di Gutteridge. However, the canny Di was unphased by this initial flurry and slowly clawed her way back. Her consistency paid off with a 3-1 victory. Emilio looked good in his 2 opening games against John Mitchell until John slowed the game down and came back to win in 5. Fes looked as strong as ever and won his 3 singles. Vali seemed to be spurred on by his early setback and surpassed expectations beating both John Craddock and the young Luke Manning who had beaten Emilio. In the absence of St Neots No.1 Mick Harper we were 6-3 up come the final doubles in which Emilio and Fes came back from 1-2 to win 3-2 resulting in a handsome 7-3 win against the league leaders.
