Eclipse 4-Way Skydiving Team

Great day at the Bodyflight World Challenge trying to remember how to 4 way. 5 good rounds followed by an absolute bar fight (4 busts - ouch). Hopefully we'll sort ourselves out for the remaining rounds tomorrow!

The notes are out and we're on our way to Bodyflight Bedford UK. What madness is this?!

Another weekend, another British Nationals. Good luck to everyone competing at the British 8-Way, Artistics and Speed Skydiving National Championships, and especially to MicroClim8 featuring our very own Martin Cressey!

Well, this is awkward. All those years we thought Jonny was the one holding us back... Well done on third place at the Nationals buddy! And congratulations to the rest of Chimera, excellent job!

Good luck to all teams at the UK Nationals. In particular to Chimera: 4 Way Formation Skydiving Team with the man, the legend, Jonny Flowers standing in on tail!

We are sad to announce that, after seven years as a team, Eclipse will not be continuing. We have had some amazing experiences along the way, and we now have the opportunity to reflect on the fantastic memories we have of an epic journey.

We'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported, helped, & encouraged us, to all the alternates who have flown with us, and to all the teams (past and present) that we've battled against at UKSLs, World Challenge, British Nationals, ESL, and World Cups. Thanks also to Skydive Hibaldstow ( ) which has, year-on-year, been brilliant at accommodating us when we're training and getting us in the air. We'd also like to say thank you to all the coaches who have worked with us over the years, and especially to the coaches who we have worked with most closely, taking a team of dubious discipline and crafting us into a borderline-respectable 4-way team; we couldn't have done it without you, Katie Woods, Pete Allum, and Steve Hamilton.

We know that there are so many thank you's to be said that this could start to sound like an Oscars acceptance speech, but we really are grateful for all the help and words of support that have motivated us and helped us to stay together for as long as we did.

Unfortunately every rollercoaster must eventually to come to an end. Some of the team may go on to compete in new teams, and some will start new adventures outside of 4-way. All five of us, however, remain close friends, and will look back with extremely fond memories.

21.6avg! Our highest tunnel average and third place. Really happy with a great competition :)

We tied NFTO at the World Challenge. We tied NFTO at the Nationals. They beat us by one point at Revenge! Thanks for a great season ladies!

Big well done to Jonny, Martin and the rest of their MicroClim8 teammates who have not only finished 5th at the World Meet but also set a new British 8Way record in the process. Great work guys!

Jonny and Martin are now out in Chicago for the World Meet with British 8 Way MicroClim8. Hope you guys have a great competition and enjoy your first World Meet!

It's all over! 4th place shared with NFTO and a 17.4 average. Many many positives - a 1.3 increase on our average from last year and our first clean competition in a long time. Happy Eclipsers!

10 rounds jumped at the Nationals, now awaiting Round 10 judging on the big screen. We are tied in 4th with NFTO after 9 rounds, let's see what happens...
