Classes discontinued. Love to Dance classes for the over 50s are run by Yvette Wooding, a professional dancer and qualified fitness instructor.
Classes currently run in four locations Renhold, Cardington, Stotfold and Biddenham. The daytime sessions are two hours long with a break midway for a complimentary tea or coffee. At Love to Dance a variety of dance styles are taught, giving participants the opportunity to sample a new genre every fortnight in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Keep Cool & Tango
As I’m sure you’re all aware, Tuesday’s weather forecast is HOT. Therefore I have requested for the aircon to be switched on at Great Denham Community Hall for our Love to Dance class. The hall manager emailed me today to confirm that the aircon has been programmed to come on for our session. Please bring a cardigan with you if you are somebody who feels the chill from aircon. (I do not want anyone complaining that they are cold!)
We will be dancing a Tango and I shall be teaching at a nice, steady pace and giving you regular breaks to sit down for a few minutes and have a drink. Please bring a bottle of water with you so you can stay hydrated during the class.

Hello dancers! What a fabulous springtime we’ve had, full of a wide variety of dance styles including Paso Doble, Oriental Belly dance, Northern Soul, Morris Dance, Lambada, K-Pop and Jazz. You’ll be pleased to hear that Love to Dance is continuing through the summer every Tuesday 10am-12pm at Great Denham Community Hall. We have reached the letter Q in our A-Z of Dance and are doing a Quebradita: an energetic, Mexican Cowboy dance. Tomorrow is the second week of Quebradita but I shall be doing a full recap, so please don’t worry if you missed week one. 28 ladies jigged their way through an energetic Irish dance at Love to Dance this morning. The choreography challenged everyone mentally and physically with intricate footwork whilst maintaining a rigid upper body. We’re doing the same again next week, so if you’re over 50 and it sounds like something you’d enjoy come and join us.

H is for Hand Jive & Happy New Year!
What an awesome start to 2022! On week 1 & 2 a total of 52 dancers joined Love to Dance to do the Hand Jive from the film Grease. Next Tuesday we are moving on to Irish dance where armography shall be little to none!
