My year 5&6 multi sports children taking part in a game of tag rugby after working on some passing and agility drills.

We went through how to pass, passing when travelling, chasing the bib, dodging and accelerating. These drills allowed the children to try out the different skills needed to help them and their team to execute the game.

Every child that attends our clubs has a end of term report send to their parents/guardians so they know how they’ve been getting on and what they have been learning.

Here is a few examples of our parents feedback.

3 ball is by far the most popular (and complex) game we play during our before school dodgeball club.

It’s perfect for a large group of key stage 2 children testing their accuracy, awareness, speed, coordination, skill and response.

Equipment
3 dodgeballs
Indoor or outdoor court with clear boundary lines
Basket ball or netball hoops

Rules and Structure
All children start on the outside of the court
3 dodgeballs placed in the middle
Coach blows whistle and game begins with children entering the court and trying to get to the dodgeballs first
If a player has a ball they are not allowed to move whilst holding it
Whilst still in the game players can get each other out with a direct hit from the shoulder down, catching a ball thrown by a player in the game or by stepping outside the court

Once a player is out they are allowed to move anywhere around the outside of the court and grab balls that come out of court
If they get hold of a ball they can try and hit someone who’s still in play, if they hit them they swap places and get back into the game
They can also take a shot at scoring a basket. If this happens everyone that is out comes back into play
Players who are out can also tag players that are in if they come within their reach and swap with them to come back on to the court.

The game continues until there is one player left. This can sometimes be a very quick process, but usually tends to be a long game with lots of changes and surprises.

It isn’t over until it’s over!

It’s summer term which means athletics!!!

My year 5 & 6 multi sports group tackled relay and sprinting.

Once we’d done some light warming up and they had their team talks it was on!

It was all about intensity, team work and pushing their fitness levels.

Super proud of the way they went in 100% and worked so well as a team.

We help primary schools to facilitate and educate children in physical education and the important role it plays physically and mentally on their development.

We coach PE lessons to cover PPA time, provide CPD for teachers and provide safe, effective and fun clubs and camps.

If your school or your child’s school needs experienced, professional and caring coaches to provide their sports provisions, get in touch or mention us to your school.

All children should have access to top level coaches to benefit from the all the things physical activity provides
