Helping Hands is an initiative run by villagers for villagers offering voluntary help to all who need a 'Good Neighbour'. The help is offered to young and old alike in any time of need and includes:

Transport for appointments, doctors, hospital, vets, etc, & where usual transport is not available (Charged at 30p a mile + parking etc.). Wheel chair assistance. Errands, collecting prescriptions, occasional shopping. Cooking/meals during illness or post-hospital. Household - odd jobs/repairs, changing fuses, tap washers, etc. garden jobs. Form filling (non-legal), & letter writing, financial advice. Pet care during illness, holidays, dog walking. Housework during illness, cleaning, ironing. Visiting, befriending.
