Hey folks, weather is getting better for the weekend and we are hoping some of you might fancy joining us at the Bedford River Festival 2024, 3rd largest outdoor event in Europe with over 300,000 people, there is a fun SUP race at 5.30 (meet at 4.45 at the watersports arena (allow for parking off site and making your way there with your SUP or parking downstream and paddling in such as Cardington). We really want to gets paddlers and lots oif SUP's represented at this event on 20th July 2024 and have a Big Float planned in the watersports arena from 6.45 onwards with live music at about 7.15pm on our big air ramps, loads of prizes from Red Paddle Co, , Paddler and SUPMgazine, Canoe Trail and others and a party atmosphere with plans for a Big SUP snake, SUP Jenga and freestyle challenge. There is still time to book onto our PSI (Paddle Sports Instructor) course running next weekend (12th and 13th August 2023) run by Richard Harpham, FRGS, and Roger Palin with over 50 years of coaching, paddling adventurers and tutoring between them across SUP's, kayaks and canoes. Join us at Kempston Outdoor Centre, home of Canoe Trail for the British Canoeing PSI course. We can also provide the SUP instructor ticket and OW SUP leader in house :)
