This Easter, we celebrate the greatest gift of all — the love, hope, and new life we have through Jesus Christ. 🌸
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” (Matthew 28:6)
Easter reminds us that even in the darkest moments, light and joy can break through. Through Jesus’ resurrection, we are given hope, forgiveness, and the promise of new beginnings.
As a Girls’ Brigade, we are proud to serve, grow in faith, and support one another in God’s love. May this Easter fill your hearts with peace, your homes with joy, and your lives with renewed faith.
Wishing all our members, families, and community a blessed and joyful Easter! 🐣✨

Tonight the girls finished off their Speaking Out badge with 2 visitors.
We were lucky tonight to be joined by 2 Police Officers, one works as an Authorised Fi****ms officer and the other in child exploitation and child safety.
We talked about safety online, strangers, speaking out and who we can trust.
The girls had so many questions, obviously they had to know how old they were that was the most important question of all 🤣🤣.
But we all had a fantastic evening and before we knew it was time to go home.
Thank you for coming to see us

One week, Every term the girls get their Journals out. We introduced the Journals back in September. The girls are encouraged to use their Journals to express themselves.
If they have had a hard week they can draw, colour, stick or paint what they feel drawn to at that moment in time that shows how they feel. If they want to remember something good that happened they can record it.
This week before they were allowed to do their own page, we asked them to show us their ROAR, as part of our Speaking up badge.
The girls love Journal week so much.. I have shared the ROAR work below, their other pages are private to them so won't be sharing those.

This week we continued with our Speaking up badge, but we learn that in order to speak up we must first Listen.
The girls went on a Listening walk so we could use our ears and they did a fantastic job at our listening treasure hunt.
They also talked about when listening to others when would we speak up about what we have heard.
They older girls, got really in to the badge and talked about times when people listened to them and when they helped others.
I am bias but our girls are the best, kind, caring and fantastic friends.
