Firstly, a huge thank you to our examiners, instructors and assistants who gave their time, experience and support throughout the Black Belt & Dan Grading. From keeping everyone focused and motivated to making sure the day ran smoothly, you were all fantastic.

And we definitely can’t forget Mrs French and Mrs O’Sullivan, working tirelessly behind the scenes! 🙌 From organising the refreshments to looking after the welfare of the students and the whole team, there was so much going on that most people probably never even saw.

Days like this don’t just happen, they take teamwork, preparation and a lot of people giving up their time to make them special.

A massive thank you to every single person involved. What a team! 🥋❤️💛

What a fantastic day it was from start to finish. We are truly proud of every single one of these students. They showed true spirit, determination and focus, pushed themselves when things got tough and gave absolutely everything they had. 👊🔥

Days like this remind us what martial arts is all about. It’s not just about earning a new belt — it’s about the journey, the hard work, the setbacks, the friendships and having the determination to keep going.

Every belt awarded yesterday was well and truly earned. 🥋👏

🥋 BLACK BELT & DAN GRADING – WHAT A DAY! 🥋

Today, Qi Kwan Do Stevenage, Hitchin & Bedford had the absolute honour of hosting our Black Belt & Dan Grading — and we could not be prouder of every single student who stepped onto that floor.

🔥 The heat was extreme. The grading was tough. But the determination was incredible.

Every student gave absolutely everything they had. Hours of demonstrating the skills, techniques, discipline and knowledge they have built up over the years — and not once did they give up.

Every member of the grading panel commented on the focus, determination and attitude shown by every student.

As the hours passed and the end finally came into sight, there was just one last push needed…

And they found it. 💪🥋

Those new belts weren’t simply handed out today — they were well and truly EARNED.

A huge thank you to Michelle Parisi for joining us on the grading panel and helping make such an important day so memorable for everyone involved. ❤️

After the presentations, it was finally time to head to the dining room for some very well-earned refreshments, a great debrief, plenty of stories from the day and, of course, a good laugh together!

Days like today remind us that a Black Belt is about so much more than the belt around your waist. It’s about commitment, perseverance, courage and refusing to give up when things get tough.

To everyone who graded today — be proud of yourselves. We certainly are. 👏👏👏

🥋 BLACK BELT GRADING – SATURDAY 8TH AUGUST! 🥋
The time has finally arrived!
Our Stevenage, Hitchin and Bedford classes will be hosting our very first Qi Kwan Do Black Belt Grading this Saturday, and we couldn’t be prouder.
This is what you’ve all been working towards. Every lesson, every drill, every drop of sweat has led to this moment. Now it’s your chance to step onto the mats and show everyone what you’re capable of.
All of the instructors are incredibly proud of how far each and every one of you has come. Believe in yourselves, stay focused, and give it everything you’ve got!
Keep practising hard this week, trust your training, and most importantly… enjoy the moment.

Due to the extreme weather forecast, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this Friday's classes in Stevenage and Bedford.

The welfare and safety of all our students is always our number one priority, and with the expected temperatures we feel this is the right decision.
