Congratulations to the 227 people who completed Bedworth parkrun this morning! We welcomed 32 first timers: 6 people completed their very first parkrun, while 26 joined us at Bedworth for the first time.
We hope everyone enjoyed the event, and we look forward to seeing you again. A huge thank you goes to the 31 people who volunteered this morning, without them, our event simply could not have happened.
Today’s event brought another course change—our last for a while—as we moved from the 3.8-lap course of two short and two long laps to a three-lap course. This meant tackling Miner’s Mount three times, once more than previously. Despite that extra challenge, 22 people achieved a PB today, congratulations to you all!
As well as PBs, parkrun milestones were achieved. Special congratulations to
🎉 Emma Fletcher for completing your 25th parkrun
🎉 Tina Duffy for completing your 50th parkrun
🎉 Anne Kench, Emma Melville and Kim Coles for completing your 100th parkrun
Congratulations and a special thank you to:
🎉 Natasha Thompson for volunteering for the 1st time today
As we’ve mentioned before, parkrun only happens because the community makes it happen. Without volunteers, there simply is no event.
If you’d like to volunteer next Saturday, whether you’re a regular or trying it for the very first time, please comment below or email [email protected] and let us know the role you’d like to do.
