ICHA **40x20 Singles Intervarsity Recap**

On Friday both UU students Meadhbh and Niamh started off strong by winning all their group matches, advancing into the ladies B championship.
On Saturday Niamh played and won her quarter final. Both Meadhbh and Niamh played their semi-finals Saturday. Meadhbh after showing a very strong performance on Friday had a tough semi-final against Leanne Gould (UCC). Niamh won her semi-final advancing to the final.
Sunday, finals day!! Niamh won the Ladies B final. Both girls put in a great performance at the weekend well done 👏 Thanks to for organising the event at the weekend.

Not just taking home 1 but 2 medals from Worlds 40x20 competition!

Results:
Sarah Devlin (Tyrone) claimed the Ladies C World title, after an epic battle against Louise McGinnity from Monaghan. 🥇🏆

Sarah Devlin (Tyrone) & Niamh McIlwaine (Monaghan) finish second place in the Ladies C Doubles. The girls lost out after a tough battle against Kells Joy Walsh and Sinead Forde. 🥈
