Meet Sarah…

She’s been with us here at Missile not far off two years at this point 🤯

In that time she’s has by far been one of our most consistent members in both strength and boxing classes!

When we decided to test run our first ever Learn to Box programme for members only she was one of the first names on the registration list 👏

Her boxing had already come on leaps and bounds since starting with us here at Missile, but the Learn to Box programme took it to a whole other level 🔥

As you can see in the video above ⬆️

Boxing can have such a profound effect on an individual’s personality…

Already Sarah has seen the benefits mentally 💆‍♀️

Going from being shy and introverted to confident and out-going 💪

And we can definitely vouch for that. An absolute pleasure to have at Missile both inside the gym and outside where she would never miss an event we have on!

Meet Cathy…

She has been with us over a year and a half now.

A serious inspiration of a woman and when we say inspiration we do not use this term loosely!

It’s no secret, fitness journeys have bumps in the road, some more than others and Cathy has over come a mountain like water or a ducks back ❤️

Her growth in confidence since walking through our doors has turned her into a new woman that has a serious can do attitude and we love it 🤩

Missile Olympics? Winning team 🙌

Strictly come dancing? No sweat 💃🏽

One month plank challenge every day in aid of charity? Cathy is your woman 💪

She has excelled in our boxing programme and continues to get better week in week out!

Missile weekly round up 🚀🚀

A great buzz at Missile this week 🤩

High numbers in sessions, relentless effort put in during workouts and everyone leaving shakey with a smile on their faces is what we love to see 🤣

Week 4 of our latest programme has just finished and our members don’t want to see major changes anytime soon… always a good sign 💪

Some noticeable increases in strength inside the gym and some great work going on outside it also with members smashing goals 🔥

Tomorrow we get together for our monthly walk again and this time we head to another great attraction 🙌

We’re also still going strong with our free Missile youth programme that runs every Sunday in support of children's mental health.

This week we would like to give a shout-out to the following members…

Kirsty Smith, who dropped a whopping 9lbs after her first 4 weeks at Missile! Former beginner, now Missile winner, she is smashing it 👏

Sean Mahon (aka big Macky), who has dropped 11lbs recently and really has a new lease of life both inside and outside of the gym. Another one of our members who has signed up with 👏

Vincent Hunter, who has been putting in some serious effort recently with attendance and effort in sessions 👏

Teresa Brophy, another one with really brilliant spell of attendance recently and amazing effort put in to the high amount of sessions she’s attending 👏

Thanks to all our members for another amazing week. We’ll see you all for another cracker next week 💚🖤

As some of you may, or may not know…

This week (6th-12) of February is children’s mental health week.

To show our support, we will be holding free sessions every Sunday for kids aged 12-17 here at Missile Fitness.

We chose this age group simply because this is generally the age kids will be in secondary school and for some, this can be hard adapting.

However, if your kid isn’t far off this age group and feel this may really help them, then simply drop us a message and let us know.

We have no limits on the amount of kids we will take on, if we need to add more classes for this cause then we will 💪
