The Rolled Muddler
Originally tied for Cutthroat Trout fishing by by BC fly tyer Tom Murray, this pattern is versatile, works for various species and imitates a Sculpin, baitfish or salmon fry. I almost always tie this fly with a bead as it gets it down and in the zone fast. Red thread helps make the pattern stick out and give a slight bleeding gill effect. This is a must have pattern in your Cutthroat Trout and Coho fly box alike.
