Well done to club member Aidan O’Hagan who found himself home in 34:35⏱️ at this year’s edition of the Seeley Cup 10k in Belfast hosted by Willowfield Harriers🔵⚪️

Well done to club member Enda McKaigue who ran a new PB of 16:34 ⏱️ for first home🥇 at this mornings MUSA park run ◼️◻️

This morning we had 2 men both back toeing the line again.

Firstly we had Gary Hegarty in Berlin this morning. This year it was just a case of getting around for today’s field due to rather hot conditions ☀️ Gary found himself home in a steady 2.40 ⏱️

Next we had Enda McKaigue at Belfast half marathon and with perfect conditions he found himself coming down Ormeau embankment in a new personal best time of 1:15:00⏱️

A busy weekend started off yesterday morning at MUSA parkrun with Tommy Hughes crossing in 17:41⏱️ for first home 🥇

In the Run Newbridge 10k this morning we had Shane Donnelly home in first place with 33:11🥇⏱️
We then had Aidan O’Hagan with 36:08⏱️
Tommy Hughes crossed the line with 36:33⏱️ to win the m60 category🥇

In Monaghan we had Martin Loughran in this years Monaghan 10 miler coming home in 1:04:13⏱️

Well done to club member Shane Donnelly who made his way to Louth last night for the annual Carlingford 5k.

In what’s renowned as always a fast race Shane delivered finishing with a new personal best time of 15:32 ⏱️ for 11th overall.

Another year and another successful trip to Ardboe for a few of the lads at this years edition of the Great Rossa Run 🔵🟠

In the half marathon we had Tommy Hughes in over the line with 1:19:50⏱️ for 4th overall and first in the m60 category🥇 this was just off the back of yesterday second place finish at MUSA parkrun with 18:06⏱️

In the 10k we had Aidy O’Hagan home in second place with 34:52⏱️🥈and closely following we had Enda McKaigue back racing again crossing the line in 35:45 ⏱️

Great running men and well done to Ardboe O’Donovan Rossa on the hosting of another successful event 👍🏼⬛️⬜️

Well done to club member Shane Donnelly on a podium finish at a rather mild Lisburn Half Marathon on Wednesday night ☀️

Despite an error made by the lead car a time of 1:12:29⏱️ was enough to see Shane home for third overall 🥉

Last weekend we had Tommy Hughes in Killyclogher 🔵⚪️ in the usual age category winning form with a time of 36:42 ⏱️in the 10k race to lift this years M60 prize 🥇

Last night in the second round of the Paul Murray 5k series 🟥⬛️⬜️ we had Aidan O’Hagan home with a time of 17:01⏱️ which was enough to seal the deal for second overall 🥈

Also last night we had Tommy Hughes racing in the Elite race in this years edition of the Downpatrick 5K winning this years M65 category with a time of 18:05🥇⏱️

Well done men on the winnings and well done to all the event organisers ⬛️⬜️

Last weekend we had our Austrian representative Vincent mckenna continuing strong form with a 15:45 ⏱️ for first home at Donaupark parkrun 🥇

Closer to home we had Tommy Hughes at the Out the line 5 mile hosted by Foyle Valley AC 🟣⚪️ a time of 29:06 found Tommy comfortably winning the m60 category 🥇

This morning saw the annual Newell 5&10k hosted by our neighbours Keep Er Lit 🟢🟡

In a morning that had conditions from all seasons we had 2 runners in the 5k and 1 in the the 10k.

Another day another top 10 finish for 2 of our members, yesterday morning saw perfect conditions for this years holding of the Gortin 5 mile road race 🔵🟡

We had Martin Loughran home in 30:57⏱️ for 9th and closely following we had Tommy Hughes crossing the line in 10th place in another M60 winning time of 31:15⏱️🥇

Last night saw 3 of our athletes inside the top 10 at this years Termoneeny 10k🟠⚫️

In warm conditions ☀️ we had Tommy Hughes home in 38:30 ⏱️for first M65 🥇and 8th overall. Next returning to the racing scene we had Seamus Bradley home in 37:57 ⏱️ for 4th place. Then in first place for another year with his name on the Tommy Hughes perpetual cup we had Shane Donnelly comfortably home in 33:30⏱️🏆🥇
