Best wishes from all at the club to Roy/Robert Marshall who tripped over a bowl during our match against Pickie last Saturday. Roy ended up in hospital and has his arm in plaster.

Great to see him yesterday down at the club cheering the team on in a narrow victory over our friends from Cliftonville.

Last night we had the honour of welcoming the Northern Ireland Private Greens Bowling League President Artie Rice.

Our own President, John Madden presented Artie with a club badge as way of a memento to remember his Presidential year.

A damp night but great to see our friends from NICS. A close game but Willowfield got over the line with a 5-2 victory.

A super start to our Mid-week teams season with a 7-0 win over our great friends from Falls B.C.

A wonderful day for our 2026 Opening Day 🌞

The weather held up well and it was great to see such a super turnout.

Well done to President John Madden as we wish him well in his Presidential year.

Such a great sight to see the green packed for our Opening Day Tournament. The winners were Gareth, Peter & Winkie while James, Casey & Les won the Plate competition. 🏆

We wrapped up the short mat season last night with the most coveted club singles competition. After a great nights bowling Winkie lifted the trophy after a very close final against Colin. Winkie now goes on to represent Willowfield in the Alfie Ross Memorial Cup which is being held at the Stadium next Friday night (27th March).

The craic was great and on top of that a wonderful sum of £110 was collected for Alfies chosen charity - The Children's Heartbeat Trust 👏👏

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Alex Robinson.

Alex was a great and very competitive bowler and was very highly thought of by all those that knew him.

He will certainly be missed by all at Willowfield and we send our prayers and thoughts to our fellow member Trevor and Alex's family at this sad time.
